For the past few days, I’ve been trying out the recipes and even experimenting on recipes of my own for making soap. I’m having so much fun, and I think I’ve made enough soap to last us till the end of the year!
I’m actually thinking about setting up a small business selling soap. Of course I’d have to perfect my recipe some more and make it even more unique. It would be a perfect part time business for me since I can create soap on my spare time, and market it from home.
How to start and set up a soap business is actually one of the topics discussed in The Super Soap Making Book. I’m re-playing this chapter a lot lately and doing a lot of research on the internet. I’m learning a lot about what I need to do for a successful debut, things such as packaging, deciding on a unique selling proposition, pricing and costing and so much more.
I’m not sure if I’ll be as successful selling soap as I am making it. But it’s definitely something I want to try. You’ll buy from me, won’t you? :)
